Our home is positioned in the middle of the busiest walking area in our town of Uchiko, Japan. The first floor of our home is zoned for commercial use and our desire is to renovate it to be a space for believers to gather for worship and prayer, as well as a community center and children's play area to better engage and befriend the Japanese locals (as well as the often international tourists). We have felt to create a space that resembles the deep wells of old, where many would gather to sustain their life, hear about each others lives, and encourage those who might be on a journey through. Our home and ministry, which we are calling Ido House, resembles just that. Ido is Japanese for "a well", and our heart is to have those gather in our space and draw deep from the Eternal Well of Jesus. Thank you so much for considering helping us raise the funds to build an excellent and God-glorifying space! Cost Broken Down: $3,840 Kitchen Construction, Installation and Machines $30,000 Construction and playground (walls, floors, gas line, counters and tables, playground - all materials, construction labor and fees) $10,500 Designer and Coordinator $9,500 Permits and Miscellaneous fees $18,000 Cafe space set up, construction and machines $12,000 Seating, Furniture, Signage, Product, Plates/Utensils/Cups, Community center learning materials and Kids play area
